eLearning Lending Practices

December 16 - December 20, 2024

The UnidosUS Learning Alliance (ULA) is currently registering counselors for the eLearning Lending Practices course. The training will begin on December 16th through December 20th, 2024.

This one-week course is designed to educate Homeownership Counselors on the basic lending practices. This course will provide basic information on laws, loan programs and an understanding of the overall process of how a loan is created. To do so, the historical context of the regulations must be explored, looking at the history of mortgage lending relevant to today’s professionals. In this course, we will walk through the history of mortgage lending from early times to today, including the American history of mortgage lending. We will develop a foundational understanding of the federal regulations that create requirements for the conduct of mortgage loan originators. At the end of this course, you will be able to identify the federal regulations, navigate your customers through the mortgage process, and ensure your customer gets the best deal possible.

Our eLearning courses are designed to provide options to multiple types of learners in an asynchronous format. We provide training materials and exercises that can be done at your own pace. So, no needing to login at a certain time or completing assignments on a particular day, you can do this from work or home 24/7 within the scheduled dates of your course. A scheduled, live Q&A session will be announced by your instructor and a notice will be sent prior to the session. The course manual can be downloaded and saved right to your desktop or you have 30 days from the course end date to log back in and review the materials.
